(and Good Luck to you, David, and thanks) You mentioned a tie to the O'Neal family. I am not related, but I would like to inquire if you or anyone else on the list can help me a bit. Back in the late 30's, I went to school in Lebanon, Mo., with a young lady named Margie O'Neal. She had several brothers and sisters, at least some of them older than she. Her dad and my dad worked together for an oil pipeline company. When we were in 8th grade, her father died. I am not sure what happened to the family after that. We moved away a year or two later. I know they were from Limestone County, Texas, which also was my mother's home. The school we attended had a plaque in honor of the man for whom it was named -- and his middle name was Groesbeck. Margie and I used to laugh about it, because both of our grandmothers lived in a town called Groesbeck. Anyone have any idea what happened to this family and to Margie? love joan

It has always fascinated me when I make a connection via a mailing list. I have met several distant cousins who are researching parts of the same families. When I first joined the Limestone list about two years ago, I made no connections and finally dropped off the list. Now I have been back only a few days and have found common ground. Joan's Margie is my husband's great Aunt Margie and Joan has given me some lovely memories of Margie and her family. I only met Aunt Margie two times but my husband was quite fond of her. He was very happy to have bits of her childhood to add to our database. Thanks to Joan for the stories and encouragement to everyone.
