    3. I appreciate all the welcomes and I hope I can help in some way even though I live a bit further east. I have been the list administrator for Milam County and 4 surnames for about two years, so I do have a little experience and I have some roots in Limestone which is why I asked for the job. My families in Limestone County include a few of my Armstrongs (distant cousins), my husband's families - O'Neal, Sparks, Puckett, Walker, Bell, McCook, and Hoffpauir - and my children's families - Gibbons and Sterling. Whew! I didn't realize there were so many. Most of these families were situated at or near Mexia. My children are distantly related to a fellow by the name of Hiram Sterling (aka Harry Walters) who was once written up in the local paper as "a Mexia legend". Harry was touted as the "Champion Trick Rider of the World". (The paper also says he was a bit of an embarrassment to the town.) Enough of the history, I just want to say that I am pleased to make your acquaintance! 3. Welcome Gina I am searching for the parents of Winifred Cundiff who was born in Mexia, Texas in 1914. I can't continue my research without this information. I hope someone out there can help me.
