Beatrice Jones passed away October 8, 2004 in a Houston hospital. She was 87. Mrs. Jones was born August 20, 1917 in Limestone County, Texas to Robert and Sarah Burmingham. She was a former long time resident of Freer, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Freer. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jones and by her son Billy Richard Jones. Survivors include four grandchildren, Dennis Spain, Gay Lynn Collypriest, David Earl Jones and Gary Wayne Jones; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 11, 2004 from 1:00 to 9:00pm at Holmgreen Mortuary in Alice. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00pm Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at Hahl Memorial Park in Freer, Texas.
