    3. David I do not have a Hope or McNabb family in my data base at all. They must be in a part of Limestone Co that I have not worked very well. I have lots out of the north end of the county to work on. Do you know if the child of Abner M Hope is really named Sollie? I have a Solly/Solley family that I work out of ALA. 1. Re: [TXLIMEST] William Meek of Groesbeck
    2. Patricia Oates
    3. Hi David I see you are still at it also :>). The Sarah Ann Meek b: 11 Sept 1866 is the only child of William & Martha E Chisum Meeks that I do not have a husband for so I can not help you. I also think Martha Chisum may have been a second marriage for William Meeks since I show her being married to John Chapman & a child Rush Chapman b: abt 1861. This makes me think it was a 2nd marriage for both Martha & William. I think I found William Meek living 1850 Carroll Co ARK with his Grand Parents next door to his Parents. This large group of Chisum families are intermarried with a George family & a bunch of them are in Cherokee Co TX where the Rev David Tidwell family is in 1850. I am wondering if these families were moving together. Too many Limestone Co TX families in Cherokee Co TX 1850 for it to have just happened. 1. Re: JOhn O. Sharp
    2. Att: Cantonjoeocho I do not have y our John O. Sharp in my family line, but I do I have a large number of Sharps. Two brothers, Anthony and Spencer, arrived in Limestone County with their large families in the 1850s. I know that John O. does not belong in Spencer's line, but there are many descendants of Anthony in Limestone and adjacent counties. Then there is Melvin Sharp, whom I believe to be a nephew of Anthony and Spencer. So look to those lines for John O. If you wish, e-mail me and I may be able to help you more. love, joan

I guessed at Bertha’s family. HOUSEHOLD #387: 1. HARRIETT HENSON 3g-gm - age 52, Head of Household (This is widow of WILLIAM SHELBY HENSON 3g-gf & mother/father of WILLIAM HENSON 2g-gf 2. Since McDonald was the maiden name of Harriet Henson – mother of William Henson – it caught my attention. In 1850 Census (outlined above) the family of D. S. MCDONALD is living next door to his Henson relatives. In the 1880 Census above William & Bertha are living in Limestone County, Texas. I did a McDoanld search in Limestone County & came up with a M. L. McDonald, wife Lucy, and children. Lucy’s age, birthplace, and parent’s birthplace matched the 1850 Census above for the O’Neal’s. Upon further research I discovered Marcus, son of D. S. McDonald, age 12, and living next door to his Aunt Harriet McDonald Henson in the 1850 Census was named Marcus Lafayette – matching the initials M. L. Thanks!! Martha
