    3. Dick You know it just hit me. Sometime in the later part of the 1800 in Limestone Co. TX we found another Sadler not connected to our John Sadler family that we could find. I think this mans name was some thing like Augustus Sadler. Do not hold me to this name I will have to try to remember what records I saw him on it has just been too long. But the name Olga does not fit our family at all. I will remember this & try to find you this information. You might want to check the 1880 or 1900 Limestone Co. TX census. Pat Oates in TX. 3. Jonelle Some of the Limestone Co. Barnett family was my GGrandparents neighbors in Oletha Limestone Co. TX. Also the Bassett family is some how kin to my Aunts Husband from the Thornton area. I have not done anything with the Bassetts yet but do have a little on the Barnett family but they are not as old as the ones you sent in. I am working the 1900 & 1850 Limestone Co. census now but will keep & eye open for any of these names as I work. Some of that Calvin Jones family is still around. I spent the day today in Ft Parker Cem & had so much fun. Pat Oates in TX. Sarah Jane is the daughter of Samuel Frost, who was killed at Ft. Parker, along with Elder John Parker, his sons and several other people. Her brother Robert B. Frost was also killed that day. I found a John Slaughter living in Personville, Limestone Co. Tx. but do not know if he is the same one that I am looking for. John and Sarah also lived in Eutaw, Springfield, and outside of Waco. John and Sarah died in Jan. 1879, within 5days of each other. Do not know where they are buried. I have check all the online cemeteries in Limestone Co., but have found nothing. 3. Hello Rebecca and Patricia, I am the Jones in southern California who has been working with Patricia about my Jones line in Limestone County. The Calvin Jones mentioned as marrying Susan Champion is not related to my Jones family. My g-grandfather, Hardy Jones, arrived in Mount Calm, which at the time was in north Limestone County ( they moved Mount Calm to Hill County I forgot when, but when the railroad came. The cemetery is still in Limestone County) . Hardy arrived there in the early 1850s probably from Shelby County Texas. He was about 30 years old at that time and already married to Martha Caroline Blackburn. They married in Daviess County, Indiana in 1846. He was the only one of his Jones family to come to Limestone County. Hardy and Martha had nine children before she died and was buried in Mount Calm in 1880. The boys were William Lewis, James Alfred, John D. and David Wilson, born between 1853 and 1873. If I can help you Rebecca, please let me know - - Ron Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: Patricia Oates To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, April 03, 2001 5:27 PM Subject: Re: [TXLIMEST] Nichols/Champion/Jones Rebecca I have a Susan Predonia Champion b:1858 married Calvin Jones.
