    3. Patricia, thank you for the offer. On the 1870 McLennan County Texas census, "East of the Brazos River", page 97, house #605 Malone Thomas 38 b.TN William 18 b. LA Kathryn 17 b. LA Elizaee 16 b. LA Frances 12 b. LA Mary 8 b. LA Carter George 18 b. LA Tabitha 16 b. LA William 13 b. LA Wilson William 15 b. LA McDonald Alpha 65 b. TN Who is the William Wilson, age 15 in 1870, b. about 1855 in Louisiana living with the Malone family? I know that Thomas Malone moved his kids to this area after the civil war. His first wife Simantha Leonard had died, and they moved from Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA. Possibly the Carter kids and William Wilson moved with him since they were all born in LA. Thomas Malone had other Malone relatives already living in Limestone county. This George Carter is my greatgrandpa and they later lived around Elk and Hallsburg which is on the McLennan/Limestone county line. George Carter is my brickwall. Finding who William Wilson is may give me further clues? I also know that Alpha Bumpass McDonald is the mother of Thomas Malone. 3. Hi Pat, haven't heard from you in awhile. I just read your email on the Wilson Family and noticed that you tied them into some other families in the area. One of them was Durham. As you know, I am researching the Beard families and one of my brick walls is finding out about Samuel J. Boyd, son of Ellen (Cox) Beard. He married Amy Durham in 1900 in Limestone County, Tx. Would you have any information on her line that may lead me to her or Sam. Samuel J. Boyd was a Baptist Minister and he and Amy had a son named Joe in 1904 who also became a Baptist Minister. My mother thinks they moved to the Dallas area but visited Thornton all the time. In fact Sam married my grandmother, Annie Lee Beard, to Thomas Albert St.Clair on 23 Aug. 1908. Any help would be appreciated. To me, this change appears to be just a way to glean more email addys with an eye to more sales. I am concerned that Rootsweb will slowly be absorbed as to have less and less that is free.
