    1. [LIMEST] KEATING, MCGEE, GIBSON, ROWLAND, INNERARITY
    2. Bluejean
    3. Hello! I'm new to the lists, so here are my missing person(s): Mary Jane KEATING (or possibly KEELING) was born approx 1842 (according to the census') in Towncreek, AL. Her mother's name was Lily MCGEE. Lily was b. abt 1816 in AL. Mary Jane's first husband was Jere GIBSON. GIBSON died abt 1865, possibly Meridian, MS. Their two children were Lily, b. abt 1862 and Camille Irene, b 25 Dec 1865, Meridian, MS. They had a son, who died as a small child. Mary Jane's second husband was John E. ROWLAND. They left MS and moved to Mexia, Limestone Co., TX. He was involved in a hardware or furniture business in Mexia, and Mary Jane was a milliner. Their children: Mary ROWLAND b. abt 1875 in TX, and John Rowland b. abt Nov 1879 in TX. In 1880, Mary Jane and John Rowland and all kids are in Mexia, TX. In 1889-90, Mary Jane and John are living in Dallas, TX. John dies in 1890-91. Daughter, Camille GIBSON, and her husband, Emanuel INNERARITY, are living next to them. Mary Jane KEATING GIBSON ROWLAND dies in Texas, I think dallas, in either 1935 or 1937. Anybody look familiar? Thanks for any help you can give me! Jean [email protected]

    3. Joan I can not help you on this I don't think. I do not remember a Weldon Wilson in my other Wilsons but I have not taken very many into that time frame. Did he have any brothers or sisters or a middle name? I can ask around to see if anyone remembers a Weldon being in their lines if you would like. If he was from the Box Church area it is very possible that he is connected to these 3 branches of Wilsons & I have some children from these lines that I have not been able to do anything with. 3. Debra Groesbeck is where the courthouse is but you might want to check McLennan Co. also. They may have been able to get to Waco easier than Groesbeck from that area. I will also send you the email address for a lady who live in that area & might be able to help more with Prairie Hill than I can. I have chased a few families out of the south east side of Limestone Co. over to the west side but have not done much work on that area as of now. Another thought is Navarro Co. which is just north of that area also. Back in that time they just went to where it was easier to get to. 3. Patricia, Do you know where i can get a list of people buried in Prairie Hill cemetary. My maternal grandmother, my moms baby sister, and several other of my family members on my moms side is buried in Prairie Hill. I would like a updated list if possible. My grandmother was Birtie Leora Michum Crockett. and my moms sister is Patsy Jane Crockett (died as a infant) Anut Dorothy is also buried in that cemetary. Dorothy Louise Gibson. She married a Gibson after Samuel Wilson died and Dorothy and Samuel were married in Athens, Tx. My dads brother Lawerence Kiggans (b Dart Ohio) and his wfe Viola Veru Michum Kiggans is also buried in that cemetary. Viola was Birtie's sister. I am kin to the Michums and Kimballs and Crocketts from Limestone Co. Limestone don't have many records on line. Where is the closest place to find records for Limestone Co. Like marriage records for 1880-1940 or birth records. 3. Debra Watt is on the other side of the county from where I am now working but I live about 7 mi. from Watt now. I did know some of the people in the area several yrs. ago but they have since died. I have not run into a Samuel Charles Wilson at this point but most of what I am working is pre 1900. The records are much better after 1900 so just do not spend much time bringing these families into 1900. Also trying to save space in the computer program. I am not really sure how many this program will hold. If you can get me back a generation on this Wilson I might could help. I have divided most of the Limestone Co. Wilson families into several groups. The ones I have the most on at this time is the Wilsons on the east side of the county. There was a Wilson family in the Big Hill area & I have some of that family. There was a Wilson family in Groesbeck that is not related to either the east or west Wilsons. They married into the Stroud family. Then there is the Gideon Wilson family that I am working with a man on also. Then there is the David Wilson family that was in Thornton. So as you see we have several different Wilson groups in Limestone Co. & feel sure there maybe more that I have not found at this time. Pat Oates in TX. 3. Shirley I found some Boyds in Hogan Cem over the week end. The Durham family was also in this area. As of now I can not help you on this Boyd family but wanted you to know about the graves in Hogan Cem. Pat Oates At 12:49 PM 7/11/2001 -0500, you wrote: >Hi Pat, haven't heard from you in awhile.
