Charlene I have received a virus this afternoon from someone on the list. I did not want to send this to the list like Don McFarland did over the week end. My virus scan picked it up & deleted it. One of my other list owner has sent us a warning that the worms are on the rampage again & I have had several over the last few days but I am on several lists. I can send you a copy of the email it came in if you need it. Thank You Pat Oates in TX. At 06:37 PM 11/26/2001 -0500, you wrote: >Replying to your request. Hi Listmembers! Is anyone located near Thornton or doing research there? I am interested in the cemeteries, and in particular the burial place of Edward McCAIG. He was deceased by 1900. His wife, Sarah M., is listed as head of household in the 1900 Census, Precinct #8, which was East of the railroad. His burial place should not be too far from there. Edward's father, John S., and grandfather, Samuel should also be buried in Limestone near Thornton or Springfield. I have searched all the on-line records with no luck. If anyone runs across the name of McCAIG in Limestone I would appreciate hearing from you. God Bless All Barb Nannery in MS

I have unsubbed two people that I have received the virus from that were on this list. Their computer did not send the virus thru the list, but as private e-mail to something I had posted to the list. Hopefully, they will get their computers virus-free soon. Please take a look at the e-mails when you get a .wav file. The ones I have gotten all start with _ at the front of the e-mail address. David [email protected] David W. Everyone can rest easy. I checked with my expert and I did get a message with a virus, but not one from the Limestone list. The message came in with everything else . It was my mistake on where it came from but don't let down your guard. Don McFarland

Sorry you got a message like that but I update to Symantec every three days and scan all emails and run my Norton daily. NO virus has ever been found on my computer although I have had Norton alert on a few in the past that contained attachments and all were deleted from the server. Just scanned again and all is clean on my system. I take no chances with my data. Pat Well it looks like we have lots of Pat & Patti names in this round. I now have some big questions about the IL. connection. There are many lines in Limestone Co. early that came from IL. to TX. including some of my own. I have worked on a Smith line that came in Limestone Co. & was married to one of the Anglin females & have not been able to do anything with him yet. Do you know where in IL. they came from? I will go back & study this first query again. Jimmy Were they from La. or did they move there? This is very interesting. Do you know what Stewart your Louisa married before T Fowler Sanders? I have several big Stewart families in Limestone Co. with some of the sons not married. Would love to connect her to the Stewart family.
