FamilySearch now has a new record pilot site at: http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=0 They have other records including census records, but two collections of interest to Texas researchers: Texas Death Index 1984-1998 (no images) Texas Deaths 1890-1976 Texas Deaths includes the actual images of the death certificate.
