I found Will A. Lamberson and Ella living in Newkirk, Kay Co, Ok. in 1920 with Lucille age 10, R.D. age 7 and Gordon Elmo age 4 months (at least that is what I think)and a slave named Sarah age 27, but no girl named Ruth. Can not find them in 1930 in Oklahoma. On the Lamar County Cemetery lookup site, there is a William Riley Lamberson that died in 1918 has listed a Amanda Ellen Pelchard in 1867 and came to Texas in 1881, that had a chilren listed in his obit named R. D. Lamberson, Sepulpa, Oklahoma; W.E. Lamberson, Newkirk, Or(k); Mrs. J.A. Thompson, Dallas; Mrs. J.D. Dickey, Mrs. Callie Mabry and Mrs. A.R.Moore of Blossom. I do not think this is yours, but it might be the father of your Will Lamberson and your Will might have named his son after an uncle. could be that Lena might be buried at Knights of Honor cemetery, if William Riley was her father-in-law. But since she is not listed on the Lamar County Website, she might not have a tombstone...otherwise, since Will lived before and after she died, in Oklahoma, I would bet she is buried up there somewhere. I hope that this helps...but probably doesn't. Sorry. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
