He was born in Ohio in 1863. He married his second wife, Annie Paine there in 1906. His death certificate says he was buried in Blossom, TX. Cause of death was by arsenic poisoning. This confirms at least part of the family legend that his wife put poison in his tea. She was perhaps employed at a prison or jail in the area. I don't know what happened to her but their 2 minor daughters were returned to Ohio and raised in an orphanage.
