I need the info from two land deeds involving W. R. Thaxton (I believe William Riley Thaxton), one to E. A. Keys (probably his daughter Emma), Book 107:412, and one from J. H. Roy, Book 186:554. Also, I don't have access to probate indexes; I am wondering whether there is probate for W. R. Thaxton, a "well to do farmer" who hanged himself in March 1905, or his wife Sarah, who died after 1903. If anyone can help, just let me know what I can look up for you at the Family History Library.
