His name was Prentice Davis Jefferies, the son of William Davis, and the nephew of the more prosperous Prentice Davis. Although we visited their house when I was little I don't remember what part of town it was in at all. I'd be interested in what anyone knew about Grandpa "Jeff" as we called him - William Davis Jefferies. His tombstone is misspelled as "Jeffries" and says WWI on it, but I don't know what part he played. (I see that I sent a photo without "Graham" last time.
