On 30 Nov 1890 Deputy US Marshal William PITTS intercepted a wagon with three men smuggling liquor into the Indian Territory. The men killed the marshal. Isam FRAZIER was later convicted, and Lige WOODS and Jim ALLEN acquitted. I am searching for any surviving family, PITTS' date of birth and place of burial.
