Hi Everyone: I hope there is someone out there that can really help me with my quest.  My mother-in-law is desperately searching for information on her father's family history.  Her father passed away when she was young and she doesn't know to much.  Here is what I know: John S. O'Keefe born about 1894 in Paris, Lamar Texas(this is what she was told) and died 1905 in Conrad, Montana.  His parents according to her were: James O'Keefe born in Ireland and Rose Smiley also born in Ireland.   Any information someone could send my way would help us out alot. Hi, Just thought I would see what I could find. Given that hand written 4's and 9's are swapped easily I thought this might be the fellow for who you are looking. What do you think? I will go to the federal census for 1920 and see if I can find this Jim Okeefe and see if he has a wife name Rose.
