Hunt who married Sarah Lofton was born in AL in 1830, so was not born on the Trail of Tears. That doesn't mean he was not an Indian. I notice that Sarah was much younger that he. Also, the Lamar County Census of 1860 has numerous people listed in his hh. I found no record of him in Oklahoma Territory or the Indian Territory in the 1870 census.
