Born May 8, 1942 in Salem,OR she was raised in Woodburn OR and graduated from Woodburn High School in 1960. She enjoyed watercolor painting, quilt making, crossstich, traveling, sewing, gardening, cooking and general craft type projects. Her professional accomplishments included being juried into the Oregon Watercolor Society and becoming a member of the watercolor critique group of Salem/Keizer, formed to assist watercolorists with improving their techniques. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jim; daughters, Jynene Black of Fairbanks, Alaska and Julie Aydelott of Keizer; sister, Ann Marie of Paris, Texas; and two granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Jan. 29 at the City View Funeral Home in Salem OR. Arrangements are by City View Funeral Home. Contributions may be made in her name to Willamette Valley Hospice, Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or the Keizer Art Association.
