H. Courcier Born: 1895 Died: 1947 Buried: Evergreen Location: 08-65-00- I went to the Evergreen cemetery and checked records there. They had him down first as W.H., but notation had him as A.H., jr. They also had his place of residence as 905 Holliday St., Wichita Falls, Wichita county, Texas. Date of death, I was told, was Feb. 5, 1947 but when I talked to funeral home, they have his first name as Henry and his death date as Feb. 3, 1947. It could be that he died on Feb. 3rd, but was buried on Feb. 5th. They are going to pull his records from their archives to see if they have more and then call me back. Others buried in the same plot area were A.H. Courcier who died Aug. 5, 1907, Eliza Louis Reynolds and Alphonso Reynolds, who died in 1897. I checked with the both the County Clerk and the City Clerk, neither office had a death certificate filed for him. It is my opinion that he died somewhere else, perhaps Wichita Falls, Texas and was brought back for burial in Lamar County.
