Used no names, appx birth year, place, female, wife, born TN 1854 /- 2 yrs, father AL, mother VA and found this family. The page has been torn and taped, the name Ellen is there. You will have to take a look for yourself, last three people at the bottom of the page. This female Pennington matches profile of Ellen Blankenship 1880; Census Place: Precinct 1, Lamar, Texas; Roll: T9_1314; Family History Film: 1255314; Page: 10.4000; Enumeration District: 73; . W. D. Penning 1850 TN TN TN E Penning wife 1853 TN AL VA Wm Penning son 1873 TN The elder William Pennington appears to be in Jack Co TX in 1900 alone and William Pennington born 1873 in Erath County in 1900 and the following cemetery listing in Grove Hill for a Pennington female named Martha matches age of Mary "Mollie" Blankenship and the husband was W. D. Pennington. Coincidence ? She is only Pennington listed there. Pennington, Martha 22 Feb 1851 - 5 May 1881 wife of W. D. William Pennington age 19 listed in 1870 Lauderdale TN census, Ripley Post Office, father Wm Pennington age 52 and living next to Robert and Eugenia Gaines Vaden and dtr Lula Vaden.
