Let me see if I can help pull some ends together for us. First, Matilda Vaiden (Vaden) and R W (Robert Wylie (my wife's g-g-grandfather)) are siblings. Their parents are Delaney Dobson (D D) Vaden and Mickey Austin Blankenship. They were living in his house in the 1850 census of Gibson Co, TN. In D D's will, he mentions a daughter named Elizabeth A Blankenship. I have for a while believed this Elizabeth A is the Annie E who married John W Blankenship. The census data from 1870 listing Matilda in John and Annie's house provides another link to the possibility that Annie is Elizabeth A. Still need more proof though. D D's will can be seen at http://www.rootsweb.com/~tngibson/wills/vaden.htm. I have found out since I posted my message that Robert W is John and Annie son and Lou is his wife. I had seen the listing of there names at Grove Hill. You will also find J F and Hannah Hailey at Grove Hill. Hannah is another of Robert, Matilda, and Annie's (if my assumtions are correct) sister's. The Ellen you listed marrying the Drumwright, is new. I will see what else I can find on this. I do not know anything on Mollie and William Pennington, unless Mollie is a nickname for Merry (Mary). More research required. The other information is new or relatively new. With what you have provided, but the response I received from the Fannin County message board. I get somewhat of an idea of their family. I will try to get this information combined over the next couple of days and get it posted. Thanks again for your response.
