Diane, Do you know if any families by the name of Lee or Hamilton is buried in Old City Cemetery? My Lee family lived in Lamar Co. 1846-1900.... My great grandfather John P. Lee, was enlisted in the CSA, 29th TX Calvary,as well as his brother Charles G. Lee, 1861-1863. ?I would like to find his grave. He died in 1877, Lamar Co. JW & Mary Ann Moseley, her mother Annie Rucker Hodge and others. Gravestones date back to 1840's and 50's. My notes say the location is "under the water tower." If the water tower just NW of downtown is still there, should be easy to find. Sorry I don't remember and didn't record the exact street. Carolyn; I personally do not know but I will look on the 7th when I go there and see if I see that name. I will make a note of your info in this email and see what I can find.
