Jim, I do not know if our Adams's are connected to the Elisha Adams you are asking about. I do not know much about our Adams line, except that my Adams -- was John T. Adams b. in Alabama - 1821 - came to Texas sometime between 1840- 1850, lived in Leon County, Texas, had wife Nancy, two sons & a daughter, then had another wife & son. He must have died sometime between 1870 - 1875. His older son James Thomas Adams was my great grandfather. Have not been able to find any more information on John T.
