My husband's grandfather was Blake Kavanaugh CUMMONS. His father was Henry Fountain CUMMONS/CUMMINGS/CUMMINS. Henry was born in Hempstead Co, AR in 1836 to Jefferson CUMMINS. Henry served in the Confederacy as Henry CUMMINGS. Somewhere along the line he changed his name to CUMMONS. Henry was married to Amanda A. PATTERSON in Lamar County in 1875.
