HUNTER CUMMINS who resided Paris, Texas, in the 1860s. There are several deed records mentioning these individuals and other members of the HUNTER or HARRIS families may be connected. In addition, a county official named W. B. KAVANAUGH may also be related. John CUMMINS' parents - who lived/died in MO - were Richard Waller and Mary KAVANAUGH CUMMINS. Her parents came from KY to TN to MO. The KAVANAUGH family produced ministers of the Methodist Episcopal Church.
