West (born 1833, probably in TN or GA) and Hester Stockton (born 1836, not sure where). Emmett later moved, perhaps along with his parents, to Dade County, Missouri, near Greenfield, where his grandfather also named Isham West (b 1806 in TN) was already living, where he (Emmett) met and married Daisy Pearl Cunningham, and where part of this West family still farms. We have fairly good details on the West family history in Missouri, but I would like to know anything possible about when Isham J. West may have come to Lamar County, Texas, what roots they may have established there, if any, plus additional family linkages from their Texas period.
