Jan. 1838, TN, in Perry? Co.; m. M. J. (?) in Decatur? Co. Listed in Decatur Co. 1850 census in father's household; 1870 & 1880 Decatur Co. with Mary Jane, wife, and family. Moved to Lamar Co., TX after 1880. Robert M. d. Feb. 16, 1908. Mary J. b. 1839; d. Sep 15, 1898,in Lamar Co., TX. Both bur in Lee Cemetry, Roxton, Lamar Co., TX. Children: Wyly J., b. Jan. 1856, . Martha F.?; Sarh E., b. Oct 1858; John W., b. Dec. 2, 1861; d. Feb 17, 1934, m. Tennessee C. Horn; Mary E., b. Mar 1864; Joseph Ann, b. ca 1867; Syvin J., b. ca 1870; Adam, b. Apr 1874, m. ca 1892, d. ca 1901, m. Tennessee C. Horn; Dula Young, b. Jul 1877, m. W. D. Duncan in Lamar Co., dau, R. M. Duncan (1901-1907) also bur. in Lee Cem. This is now a Texas Historical Cemetery. Applying for Civil War Veteran markers. Found Pvt. R. M. Young, enlisted Sep 7, 1861, Co. A., 28th Cons. Inf, 1st muster roll, Mar, Apr, 1863, absent wounded Jan 2, Murfreesboro; Jul & Aug - absent without leave from April 1, 1863. No further info on muster roll. Need to prove whether or not R. M.
