Had 5 wives. He and his last wife, Elizabeth Foster McRae are reportedly buried in Post Oak Cemetery, Lamar Co. Can't locate listing of burials at that cemetery on internet. Was advised there are two cemeteries in Lamar Co. named Post Oak. One near the town of Post Oak, northeast of Paris and the second one northwest of Paris.
