    3. Make sure you have the latest anti-virus definitions installed on your computer. Either you have a virus or someone you know has one and your email address is in their address book. Many of the virus/worms fraudulently use other's email addresses to hide their trail. If you're not sure if your virus program is protecting you and there might be a possibility that you're computer is infected, you can scan it for free at: http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/default.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym. Even though I have Norton myself and my isp also scans email, if ever I'm in doubt, I use this free scan to double check my system. Just remember that viruses can not come through these lists. Attachments are not accepted with list email.
