The Rev. Vernon Babcock officiated the ceremony. Internment followed at the Springs Chapel Cemetery in Hugo. Randy Vanderburg died Jan. 9, 2003 in Hugo. He was 51. Randy Vanderburg was born March 6, 1951 in Paris, Texas to Kenneth Vanderburg and Nell (Slagle) Vanderburg. He married Brenda Babcock April 9, 1977 in HugoOK. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Vanderburg; his mother, Nell Vanderburg of Arthur City, Texas; two daughters, Jordana Frost of Grant and Erika Vanderburg of Hugo; two sisters, Marsha Brown and Monya Hall, both of Chicota, Texas and one brother, Robin Vanderburg of Paris, Texas. Miller & Miller Funeral Home in Hugo is handling the funeral arrangements.
