Surnames: Black, Wooldridge Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YlB.2ACI/1977 Message Board Post: The cemetery posting shows John T Black buried with first wife Ella V, whose birthdate is the right year for Lena Wooldridge who married John T Black in Lamar Co. in 1891 and was dead before 1900. Ron Brother's notes say there is family information on this first wife. The Wooldridge family info only gives me the names of Lena and John's two daughters: Kate and Alta. Kate married a Colbert and Alta married a Westbrook. Can anyone give me any more data? Is Ella V. the name she was known by in the Black family? Was the V. for Verlena? Verlena Calloway was Lena Wooldridge's grandmother's name. Verlena/Verlina's grandmother was Jemima Boone, daughter of Daniel Boone. Thanks, Tory
