Surnames: Ezell/Smith/Thompson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YlB.2ACI/2028 Message Board Post: I am attempting to locate the connection between the Ezell family and the Smith/Thompson families of Lamar and Hunt Counties, TX. I found a reference to an Ezell surname while researching the Thompson line. It would seem that the young lady is related to the Smith line from the article since Mrs. Thompson was Annie L. Smith from GA who married John A. Thompson in Fulton Co. GA before moving to TX. The article reads... "Miss Ezell of Petty is visiting her cousin, Mrs. Jno. Thompson of Senora." The Commerce Journal Oct. 31, 1902 Any info on this Ezell family would be most helpful.
