    1. Re: [TXLAMAR] Thanks Dian
    2. Thank you Jim, I will look there also. They seemed to vanish as soon as they died. No records have been found yet and none of my family is listed in Ron's database. I am hoping to find morticians, funeral homes, doctor records etc. Your photos will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to help. -----Original Message----- From: Jim Giddens <jimgidd@suddenlink.net> To: txlamar@rootsweb.com Sent: Sat, 29 Sep 2007 6:25 pm Subject: Re: [TXLAMAR] Thanks Dian I had a good visit to the Old City Cemetery. Maybe more details later but for now, the cemetery was freshly mowed and it good shape as for as the grass goes. Now worry about a gate or locked gate. I was looking for several names that were given. Lee, Hamilton, Tidwell, Higgs, Lynn and Emery. Lynn was the only one I found, many markers can not be read. I took over a dozen pictures of the interesting cemetery. Dessie infant daughter of Sml & Maggie Lynn born ??? 20, 1874(?) died July 23, 1875 Maggie A Lynn wife of S?? 1. Re: [TXLAMAR] Dessie to Bessie and Moseley
    2. Jim Giddens
    3. The marker I stated as Dessie Lynn is actually Bessie Lynn. Thanks to Debra for pointing that out to me from records. I went back and zoomed in on my photo and yes it is Bessie. Also seems I recall the Moseley name being mentioned recently on this board. So I did take a picture at the Old City Cemetery of a marker of a 20 yr old born to J.W. & M.M. Moseley. The marker is a small to medium size slab type, it is broken into two pieces, but has been laid in place in the area of the others that I said gave the appearance of a tile floor. The first name is not clear, it appears as DA M. I have tried to make "Adam" out of it but the M seems to me a middle initial, maybe it is ADA M.
