I believe I found the William Lipscomb family in Delta County in the 1930 census. William Lipscomb, Jr. 9/12 years old (census was taken in April 1930) is listed with his parents William, age 23 and Anna May, age 17. No other children listed. I searched earlier census for the father in Delta and Lamar counties - no listing. I looked for a marriage record for the parents to try to glean the mother's maiden name - no listing. All three were listed as having been born in Texas. Maybe try posting a message in Delta County message board as this is probably where they were married and William Jr. born.
