Tx Queries Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Tx/Lamar?read=813 Surname: DODSON, EUBANKS, CORN, CLARKSON ------------------------- I was searching the marriage listings for Dodson, and the cemetery dates, and realized that there were 3 John Henderson Dodsons. #1 married Mary Cunningham and was born 1838 (Sue's records); # 2 was born 1864 and married Mollie Click; # 3 was born 1885 . The newspaper obituaries for #2 (Jr.) and # 3 (III) are in Ron's wonderful cemetery file. Now I have to figure out how Mollie Click was related to Henry M Click. Henry's wife was Martha Madeline Eubanks, and she married George Washington CORN Sr. after Henry died. I am interested because George W. Corn's Mother was Elizabeth CLARKSON Corn, sister to my CLARKSON ancestor. The Dodsons are also related through the Hanes - Lenoir connection. Confusing, isn't it? However, I think I have the Corn family in Lamar County straight now. Just trying to place all the descendants. I plan to be at the Springhill Cemetery meeting Saturday, June 3rd, if anyone local wants to discuss these families.
