There was a "crossroads" located about a mile south of the Sulphur River at the crossing of Fm2949 and Fm128 which goes to Ben Franklin. These roads are located just off of Fm2675? after it crosses the river. To find this road you have to take Fm137 from kimberly clark towards Roxton. Fm2675 intersects with Fm137 just about 2 miles from Roxton. This is the only Crossroads I have heard of this close to lamar county, this one is located in Delta county not far from the lamar co. line. It could have been in Lamar co. at some point in time. It doesn't exist anymore but info could be found in Delta Co. Library located in cooper, Tx.75432 -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] Sent: Jul 4, 2005 12:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [TXLAMAR] Re: Where is Crossroads? I don't know how long it's been there or whether or not it is the original site of Crossroads Community, which could be a generic name. ==== TXLAMAR Mailing List ==== Lamar County Reference Books and Resources and Look-up Volunteers: http://gen.1starnet.com/lookups.htm ============================== Search the US Census Collection.
