it is not John M so far as I can confirm. That was John Moore Parks b 18 Sep 1877 in Blossom TX d. 6 Mar 1954 Paris TX married Ada Cornelia Cassell on 1 Feb 1903 in Blossom. She was born 8 Oct 1883 in Gilliam AR died 16 Jun 1956 in Paris TX. They had 3 children. Don't think that's a match. He is listed on the 1880 Lamar County census living with his mother and 7 children and he states he is divorced. I later found where Hesakiah married a woman by the name of Zenorba Wright on November 13, 1881, who was listed on the 1880 census as a servant living with Lucinda's brother Tobias Mullens and his wife Nancy. I know that Lucinda and Hesakiah's son Heze and his family lived and are buried in the Antlers, OK area. They are listed on the 1910 and 1920 Pushmataha County, OK census. Re: Mamie Rodgers If this is the same person as my Aunt Mamie Rodgers, this is what I have written in my book. Gus Henry Hutchison was my grandfather who I remember meeting at the age of five or six on his farm in Petty, Texas. I liked getting up at 4 a.m. and having breakfast with him and my Aunt Mamie, a lady from my grandmother Lilly's first marriage to John Lowe Hughes. Gus would leave for the cotton and vegetable fields and not be seen again until dark. Gus and Lilly were not 'talkers'. My Aunt Mamie was always trying to help me decipher who was related to whom and how to tell time. I never got tired of her stories. Gus had electricity put in but one day (according to Sid), but while trying to work on a light switch, shocked himself. After that, no electricity was ever used again in that house. We used coal oil lamps. They only had an 'out house'. We used well water too. Definitely it was an experience to visit the farm and taking a bath in a tub full of rain or well water on the side porch.
