I am looking for all connection to any Childers in Lamar Co., TX. I know of 3 men that came to Lamar Co., TX, Alford Malloy Childers came to Lamar Co., TX, I don't know what date. And also Brothers John and James Childers came between 1875-1880. I am specifically looking for any descendants of John or James. Thankyou, Jay Odom

Hi Glenda, Clara Hubbard who married Joe W. Caldwell was Joede's gr-aunt. That would make John Hubbard Caldwell Joede's 1st cousin once removed. If you descend from John Hubbard Caldwell they you & Joede are cousins. We are hoping to find a Hubbard descendant with knowledge of the family as we are at a dead end in our research.
