Freeman served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II and moved from Seymour, Texas to Dallas in 1953 with his wife, Elaine Nichols Ragan. He retired from Continental Trailways after many years of service. He was a member of University Park United Methodist Church, where he served as usher and attended the Men's Bible Class. Freeman was also a member of Hella Temple, Shriner's, Masons, the Dallas Agricultural Club, and he spent many hours volunteering for the Bread Basket. He was a loving and giving man that enjoyed woodworking, fishing, baseball and being with his family. My understanding is a member can not send a attachment, but you and send it to the administrator of the county site, and they can place in on the web-site. At least I have seen this done once or twice on another county board. It just chugs and chugs along and then can't digest this large picture and then quits. To make up for breaking my promise to send each of you who requested a copy, if you will send me a regular size business envelope stamped and addressed I will go to the copy store and make a copy for each one of you and mail it back to you. If there are names listed for the children, perhaps you could post the names on the Lamar County website. At one time, there was a small weekly paper that reprinted old pictures of schools and named the children shown. I don't even have the name of the paper, just a couple of faded (not clear enough to be copied) newsprint pictures, and all schools near Novice or Faught. Barbara Ferrell
