Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. LaVerne passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, in Lubbock TX. She was born Jan. 28, 1928 in Shamrock TX to the late Dewitt and Norine Moore. She married Jack Fry Oct. 14, 1945 in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death February 1974. LaVerne was a member of Slide Baptist Church. She loved crossword puzzles and crocheting. Survivors include her two children, Mike Fry and wife Dian of Woodward, Okla., and Jackie White and husband Jerry of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Kem Taylor of Woodward, Okla. and Jeremy White and wife Amber of Lubbock; three great-grandchildren, Megan and Lindsey Copus, and Jarred Taylor; a brother, Butch Moore and wife Margaret; and a sister, Katherine Parker, both of Paris TX. The family suggests memorials to Slide Baptist Church, 19101 FM 1730, Lubbock, TX 79424.

I have Hilary Colwell born 1880 in Decatur Wise County, Texas. He had a sister named Florence Belle. She married Benjamin Franklin Bench in Texas. They all moved to Choctaw Nations Oklahoma in 1900s. Hilary married Byankie Alice Gardner Williams in 1901 Ok. They had Walter, Oscar Jack, Harriet Beatrice and Suzette. They lived in Colorado and Died in Glendale, Arizona. I do not think we are related however, you never know. I am glad you found you info you needed.

Born in Texas Sarah 24 yrs old Female Born in Texas and Thos D(I think) age 2 born in Texas. neighbors on one side last name Floyd and the other side is a Wideman.The date on the census is 17(I think) of Sept.
