    2. John & Elnora Wyrick
    3. Hi All, I have posted new Lee Notes- on our Home page, John & Elnora Cook-Wyrick Families; http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/w/y/r/Elnora--F-Wyrick/ Any new Cousins out there?. Recent DNA Tests proves our Lee Line is not connected to the "Leesville, VA., Lees", or any of the other Lee Lines tested to date; We are hoping other Lees will test so we can find our Line. There is some evidence that John G. Lee's parents may have been John Lee and Frances Ward, that is not confirmed to me at this time. 3. Not to be picky but the Clarksville paper founded in 1842 by Charles DeMorse was the "Northern Standard", in 1852 the northern was dropped and it was the Standard. Jimmy Hurt writes in the Red River Recollections book, the Standard was having great success growing and by 1846, the Standard unsuccessful attempted to open a branch in Bonham. Bonham joined then in 1847. What I found on Deport Times was establishment in 1909 with attempts to start a newspaper prior to that time "short lived".
