The Sanitarium of Paris was a General Hospital and and Annex for Children. During the 1940s I spent many a day in the old X-Ray Room as I had a hip problem. I still have bill my father paid Delivery of me, $42.00. There were three Hospitals in town, The County Hosp. and St. Joseph. The Paris Hospital had their own farm that they raised produce and meat for use kitchen. gerald preas --- Tony & Sue Skay Abruscato <[email protected]> wrote: > Again, please post any replies to gatewayed queries > to the message > boards. There was a "crossroads" located about a mile south of the Sulphur River at the crossing of Fm2949 and Fm128 which goes to Ben Franklin. These roads are located just off of Fm2675? after it crosses the river. To find this road you have to take Fm137 from kimberly clark towards Roxton. Fm2675 intersects with Fm137 just about 2 miles from Roxton. This is the only Crossroads I have heard of this close to lamar county, this one is located in Delta county not far from the lamar co. line. It could have been in Lamar co. at some point in time. It doesn't exist anymore but info could be found in Delta Co.
