I had alway's thought it was Hopkins Co. But.... I have had no luck. So I am trying the Counties from Rockwall and going East. Their names were William H. Collins And Clyde (Maiden name is unknown). From what I have found on the US census they were married around 1895. William H. was born about 1876 in Kentucky and Clyde was born about 1879 in Arkansas. In the 1900 census William was living at home with his parents, but listed as married for 5 years. I have not found Clyde in the 1900 census. William H's parents were Asberry Collins and Mary Jane Collins. Any information please email me here or at [email protected]

I see this family on the 1910 census. I have Lamb family during that time also in Paris, TX. Have you come across an Allen L. Lamb b. abt. 1854 in your group? Allen had a son named Clarence Clemens Lamb born in TX 1881. Children of Clarence C. were born in Paris or around that area of Texas. I've hit an enormous brick wall! I have even discovered documents that don't prove much of anything (no birthdates or places of birth - even on marriage licenses). I think that Allen married May Ballard (not 100% on her surname). He then married a Sarah Smith in Paris, TX in 1916, yet I cannot find him on the 1910 or 1920 census. I'd love to hear from you and compare notes. Do you know who the parents of Horace are? I also see he married Alice McCarty in Lamar County in 1879.
