It was named after the Lively family I believe. There is a book at the library in Kaufman that tells about the different towns and how they got their names if you would like me to look it up for you. There is indeed a cemetery there also named the "Pyle Prairie Cemetery" with numerous graves. As far as I know there is one convenience store/gas station in the town. I live not far from there.
