    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FkB.2ACE/1033.1 Message Board Post: [The previous query asked about the possible father of William Francis Frasier, born c 1852] In the 1860 Census of Kaufman County, there is a W.C.T. Frazure (Dwell/Fam 164/164) who has a son listed as Wm. A. aged 8. This is taken from a transcript of the census, and given the horrible handwriting of the census taker in 1860, it is quite possible that the middle initial could be transcribed incorrectly. It is also possible that William, like his father had two middle names-- Francis and something beginning with A. (like Asbury). W.C.T. served briefly in Co G, 12th Texas Cavalry, but was discharged in Feb 1862 for rheumatism (he was in his late 40's)-- an abstract of his service record is on the Kaufman County GenWeb page in the Civil War section. >From the age of W.C.T.'s other children in the 1860 Census, he should be in Texas in the 1850 Census (he's not in Kaufman or Henderson).
