She was told her father was buried in a cemetery at Red Oak, Kaufman County. Where is Red Oak, and what cemetery is located there. The name I am researching is Norman.
The cemetery that I most associate with Red Oak is the Rader Cemetery. They have an annual Homecoming at the old one room church across the road for families who have loved ones there. This has been going on for years and years, since my great grandparents were there. It is always the 4th Sunday in May. Families of mine that are buried there are Fair, Rupe, Price, Wolford, and Luttrell. I believe there is a website that has those who are buried there. You may be able to find it on Kaufman Site. Sorry, I don't have the path handy. Other cemeteries nearby are Black Jack, and College Mound.
