John and Eliza [Hodges] Constant family (with nine children including Henry Thomas and Nanny May Constant) moved to Texas from Kentucky in 1876. Eliza died in 1881 and John in 1889. Henry Thomas Constant (son) moved to Van Zandt Co. from Kaufman Co.
