Surnames: Harris, Nicks Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/FkB.2ACE/1040 Message Board Post: I am looking for someone that knows a family named Harris that lived in the Kaufman Co probably around Terrell during the late 1890's and early 1900's. A member of the family was named Fannie Harris. My grandfather lived with them after he was orphaned during this time frame, his name was Charles Columbus Nicks or Charlie Nicks. He left them about 1905 when turned 11 years old and ventured out on his own. I know that Fannie lived in Dallas during the 1960's. Thank you.
