He married Elizabeth A M (Liza) Choate born 12 May 1823 Virginia and died 28 Jul 1915 Mississippi. She is buried in Old Oak Grove Cemetery, Union County, MS. Children were: Francis (male) Campbell b 1848 MS John M Campbell b jul 1851 MS (in the 1870 Census of Marshall County, MS (list on ancestry.com as Jall but it is really J M) 1900 & 1910 censuses of Ellis County, TX. Married Mary A E Stewart. Children were Cynthia (married William Edward Deatherage), Eliza A, Thomas Robert, Ophelia, Joella (married ? Deatherage), Emma E (married Albert L Godwin), Jettie, and Dessie. William A Campbell b 1854 MS (may be the family of the 1880 Census Tate County, MS) If he is in Tate County then his wife was ME, and kids were J L (male), W R (male), Ann, I L (female). Martha E Campbell b Oct 1858 MS married William A Belk. Had one stillborn child in 1883 who is buried in Old Oak Grove Cemetery. After John's death in 1888, Liza Campbell lived with this family until her death in 1915. Thomas Ephraim Campbell b 07 Sep 1860 MS - d 08 Jan Abilene, Taylor County, Texas. Married Melinda Jane (Linnie) Faires in Tate County, Mississippi. Some of their kids were born in Kaufman County, TX. Their daughter Minnie Bell Campbell married William Arthur Scarborough and they mostly lived around Ellis & Kaufman Counties of Texas. Other Campbell kids were Lillie Dell (married Edward Dodd Barfield), Parilee Frances (married William Edgar Lasley), Ada Louise (married William Luther Barfield, Jettie F (married Richard Wilkins), John Thomas (married Viola Frances Nolen), and Mildred Viola (married Thomas A Gracey). The Scarboroughs are my family. Robert Lee Campbell b 23 Jun 1863 MS - d 07 Sep 1937 probably Union County, MS. Buried in Macedonia Cemetery, Union County, MS. Wife was Dora Garrison. Children were Clyde J (married Claudie Eck Beckworth), Geneva, Donnie (married Wiley Robbins), Henry Fines, Ona S (married a Fields), Louis Eldredge (married Edna ?), Dewitt Talmadge (married Govie ?), Ethel, Hattie & Marie (the last 2 may be the same person, hard to tell in census records) According to the 1910 census of Union County, MS Liza Campbell listed that she had a total of 8 children, but only 5 were living. I believe Francis may be one of these 5 since I have yet to find a record of him after 1860. So the other 2 may have been infants. I also believe that John L M Campbell may have been related in some way to Cornelius C Campbell the son of Samuel Patrick Campbell and Margaret (Peggy) Brown as he is in Marshall County, MS which John's family moves in and out of, and his son (my ancestor) Thomas E Campbell ends up in his neighborhood in Tate County, MS in 1880. (Thomas is listed as F E Campbell and is 3 pages prior to Cornelius and his kids.)
