I have the following articles related to the shooting and subsequent death on Mon Williamson but have not been able to find information on the examining trial. Dallas Morning News - June 22, 1917: Shooting Southeast of Elmo. Special to The News Terrell, Texas. June 21.-Mon Williamson, a farmer residing on the Taylor Boshear farm southeast of Elmo, was shot with a shotgun about 8 o'clock this morning. fifteen shot taking effect in his chest. John Bryant, another farmer residing on the same place, has been arrested and is being held by Constable Parker of Elmo, pending results of Williamson's wounds. Dallas Morning News - June 23, 1917: Farmer Dies of Wounds. Special to The News Terrell, Texas, June 22.- Mon Williamson, a farmer who was shot near Elmo yesterday, died this morning from the effects of his wounds.
