Bobby Sapp and the Rev. Larry Lindsey officiating. Interment followed in Haven of Memories, Canton, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Mabank. Mrs. Mitchell died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2001 at Methodist Hospital, Dallas. She was born June 15, 1916, in Prairieville. Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker. Survivors include daughter, Carolyn Joy Foster and husband, Thomas of Curwensville, PA; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other family members and a host of friends. Pallbearers were Gary Sapp, Nalon Mitchell, Richard Mitchell, Jason Sapp, Joseph Becker and Gilbert Mitchell.
